Greenfield Development has officially been established, the announcement coming after the partnership of entrepreneur Gabor Moro and former CTP head of construction Daniel Szelesi was augmented with the joining of the third and final partner, former CTP country head David Huszlicska.
“We established the company in order to provide high-quality general contracting services and an array of additional complementary services to our partners, as we saw the opportunity on a market where general contractors are usually only executors of orders and not strategic partners from the get-go,” said Gabor Moro, alluding to the extensive capabilities of the company not only to develop but handle pre-development tasks such as site searches, due diligence, and feasibility studies, as well as source investors for funding and JV projects.
With the presence of a prefabricated concrete element factory within the group’s ownership, nothing is left to chance with the most costly element in industrial development. “By bringing our own prefab producing facility into the mix, we are able to internally produce the most critical element of industrial buildings, not only from a sourcing standpoint but also capacity availability and pricing,” says Daniel Szelesi, former construction head of CTP Hungary.
According to the trio, starting a construction company in the middle of a volatile period in global politics and economics was a strategic. “Upon considering the timing of establishing Greenfield Development we realized that although certain construction projects and expansion plans will be put on hold, there is now more than ever the need for a versatile player on the market who can handle everything from guided site searches to handing over the keys to your brand new warehouse” said David Huszlicska, former country head of CTP Hungary.
